Dora McDuffie

Dora Retha McDuffie, 83, of St. Pauls, North Carolina died Friday November 3, 2017 at the Open Arms retirement Center in Raeford, NC. She was born November 12, 1933 in Robeson County, NC and attended Great Marsh Baptist Church for many years before joining Westside Baptist Church in Red Springs, NC. She was a committed Christian. Preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe C. McDuffie, Sr.; mother, Princess Davis; sister, Louise Taylor; daughter, Katherine McDuffie Smith; and 2 grandchildren, she is survived by daughters, Lena M. Horne, Judy M. Smithson, Glenda M. Johnson and her husband Harold, and Brenda Herring; sons, Roscoe C. McDuffie, Jr., Kenneth “Killer” McDuffie and his wife Betty, Howard McDuffie and his wife Irene, Richard E. McDuffie and his wife Dorothy, Wayne McDuffie and his wife Cathy, and Johnny Herring; 26 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Sunday 11/5/ 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with Funeral Services scheduled for Monday 11/6/2017 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
