Dorothy Jackson

Dorothy Evelyn Jackson, 85, of St. Pauls, North Carolina died Saturday November 4, 2017 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born in Robeson County, NC December 6, 1931 to the late William Carson and Ebie Norton Cashwell. She was the owner/operator, along with her husband, of Kirby Jackson’s Grocery Store in downtown St. Pauls, NC. She was a member of The Life Center. In addition to her parents, William and Ebie Cashwell, she was preceded in death by a son, Kirby Pittman Jackson, Jr., and a sister, Julia Forrest. She is survived by her son, Bobby Jackson and his wife Mary; daughters, Nancy Stone and Jeana Aldridge; grandchildren, Eva Hardesty and her husband John, Lisa Marshall and her husband Billy, Jordan Jackson, Ashley Maitland, Kelsey Gorum and her husband Mike, and Bailey Aldridge; great grandchildren, Jacob, Ben, Kayden, Mary Beth, Emma, Aaliyah, Zoey; and a sister, Zelma White. A Memorial Service will be held at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls on  Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 12:00 Noon with a visitation scheduled for one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon.
