Douglas Wooten, Jr.

Douglas Odell Wooten, Jr., 62, of Red Springs, North Carolina died Thursday February 14, 2013 in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. Preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Odell and Roslie Daniel Wooten, Sr., he is survived by his brother, William "Billy" Wooten and his wife Debbie of Parkton; nephew, Matthew Wooten of Parkton; uncle, Tommy Wooten and his wife Jane of Winston-Salem and aunt Elizabeth "Pinkie" Wooten of Aberdeen. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday February 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM in Parkton United Methodist Church, Parkton, NC with the Reverend Teresa Rutledge officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church Fellowship Hall. The family suggests contributions in Doug's name be made to Parkton United Methodist Church, POB 88, Parkton, NC 28371.
