Elizabeth Jackson

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Jackson, 87, of Lumberton, formerly of Parkton, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Golden Living Center. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 11:00 am in Parkton Cemetery, Parkton, North Carolina with Daniel Hetzer officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls. She was born in Robeson County, May 5, 1928, to the late George Robert and Mary Elizabeth Bunnells Jackson. She was a homemaker and caretaker for her mother in her later years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her long time companion, William "Bill" Bullard. She is survived by special friends Betty and Jimmy Ivey, Susan Moss, and several nieces and nephews.
