Emma Shaw

Emma Daphine Shaw, 85, of Rex died Tuesday July10, 2018. She was born March 16, 1933 in Robeson County to the late Luther David and Beulah Katie Gray Thompson. She served as Post Master of Rex Post Office. An active member of Rex Presyterian, she was, also, a member of the Lumber Bridge Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillery.  Preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy E. Shaw, Sr., Daphine is survived by sons, Eddie Shaw and his wife Debbie of Rex, Mike Shaw and his wife Kathy of Angier, and Ronnie Shaw and his wife Janet of Rex; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Dix of Fayetteville and special care givers, Julia Zabala, Gina McMillin, Melissa Steen and Shannon Weber. Funeral Services will be held Saturday July14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Rex Presbyterian Church with a visitation scheduled for Friday July 13, 2018 from 6-8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
