Grady Caulder

September 15, 1935 — April 3, 2020

Grady Caulder, 84, of St. Pauls, died at his home Friday April 3, 2020 surrounded by loving family members. He was born in Robeson County on September 15, 1935 to the late Cliston and Frances Davis Caulder. A veteran, he served in the United States Air Force, receiving the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. He liked gardening and he loved fishing. Taking after his father, Smut, he could catch some fish. In addition to his parents, Cliston and Frances Caulder, he was preceded in death by his brother Richard Caulder. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ann Caulder; daughter, Belinda Nipper and her husband Wesley; sons, Ronnie Caulder and Bruce Caulder and his wife Kandy; grandchildren, Christina Hill and her husband George, Christopher Prevatte, William Caulder and his wife Jennifer; great grandchildren, Alex Hill, Heather Hill, Brayden Newell, Austyn Newell and Easton Caulder; sister, Eloise Sutton; brothers, Eugene Caulder and his wife Doris and Cary Caulder. He had 2 special companions, Bouncer and Boo Boo. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Sunday April 5, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the Caulder Family Cemetery with Reverend Michael Gist officiating. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
