Henry Beasley, Sr.

Henry Cade Beasley, Sr., 78, died Friday May 10, 2019 at his home in Lumberton, North Carolina. He was born in Robeson County, North Carolina on October 14, 1940 to the late Henry Benton and Mary Myrtle Brown Beasley. He loved going to work and during his lifetime he enjoyed 3 major occupations, Law Enforcement, Trailways Bus Driver and Truck Driver. He loved eating, especially shrimp, which he was not supposed to have. He liked watching TV Land, mainly Andy Griffith and any old westerns. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sadie Hayes Beasley; children, Henry Cade Beasley Jr., Donna Jackson, Sheryl Beasley, Tony Martin, Wanda Flores, Coleen Whitaker, Doug Martin, Timmy Martin, Destiny Sampson, Tabitha Martin; 29 grandchildren; 15 great grandbabies; sisters, Barbara McBee, Joyce Shaver and brother, Neil Brown. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held Monday May 13, 2019 at 12:00 Noon at St. Pauls United Methodist Church, with Pastor Bruce Skipper officiating.
