Henry Godwin

Henry Godwin, 62, of St. Pauls, NC, formerly of Lumber Bridge, died Monday June 24, 2019. He was born in Robeson County December 25, 1956 to the late Garfield and Josephine Jacobs Godwin. He was a rural mail carrier serving with the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed cooking, especially bar-b-que and he was an avid reader, a book addict, who was, also, fond of comic books. He liked trips to the mountains, but most of all he loved his grandkids, his daughters and Wally the Yorkie. Preceded in death by his parents, Garfield and Josephine Godwin, he is survived by his wife, Nadine Godwin; 2 daughters, Charlene Godwin and Angeline Godwin; grandchildren, Angelica Rose Godwin, Serenity Rain Godwin and Mickey Godwin; and special friends, Brenda Jackson, Kim Carroll, Kellie Willis and Terrell McNeill. A visitation is scheduled for Friday June 28, 2019 from 2:00-3:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with a Graveside Funeral Service being held at 3:00 pm, also, on Friday June 28, 209 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls.
