James Edwin Johnson

James Edwin “Jimmy” Johnson, 55, of St. Pauls died Monday December 2, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born in Cumberland County on January 24, 1964 to Frieda Beth and the late Franklin Lamont Johnson, Sr. He was an avid Star Wars memorabilia fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Lamont Johnson, Sr. and a brother Franklin Lamont Johnson, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Frieda Johnson; brothers, Tim Johnson of St. Pauls and Carey Johnson of Durham; aunts, Margaret “Margie” Everett and Carol “Chubby” West; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday December 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Great Marsh Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Don Goforth officiating. Friends may call at the family’s home.
