James "Johnsie" Hall, Sr.

October 5, 1947 — September 10, 2017

PARKTON – James Robert Hall (Johnsie), 69, of Parkton, died in Southeastern Lumberton Hospital, Sunday , Sept. 10, 2017 following a massive heart attack. Born and raised in Parkton, the son of Pete and Bennie Hall he was a lifetime resident of Parkton and Parkton Baptist Church. Johnsie was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Teresa Hall, a sister, Patricia Hall and a brother, Jerry Hall. Johnsie had a strong love for his family and friends. Always willing to help those in need, he never met a stranger. To know Johnsie was to love him. Johnsie leaves his wife of 51 years, Kathy McMillan Hall of the home, two sons James Robert Hall, Jr. and Ronnie Hall, both of Parkton; three grandchildren, Skyler Hall, Jason Hall and Jessica Hall; two brothers and three sisters, Tommy H. Hall Sr., and Daniel A. Hall both of Parkton, Wanda H. Frush of White Lake, Connie H. Williams of Fayetteville and Cathy H. Odom of Elizabethtown; and a niece, Angel Lee. Johnsie worked for years as a government employee and later as a finish carpenter. A graveside memorial service is planned for October 5, 2017 at 4PM, in the Parkton Cemetary.
