John Shaw, Jr.

John Calvin Shaw, Jr., 62, of Jacksonville, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at  New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.  A graveside Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 28,2021 at  Rex Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Rex, NC with Rev. Rusty Campbell and Jennifer Hagin officiating.

Mr. Shaw was born February 5,1959 in Southampton, NY to the late, John Calvin Shaw, Sr. and Mildred Carter Shaw.

He faithfully served his country in the US Navy.  He was a land surveyor for 40 years working from coast to coast.  His favorite times were spent on a Harley Davidson on the open road.  Ride FREE John.

Survivors include his sisters, Sandy Rigsbee (Bill) of Stella and Vicki Hagin of Jacksonville; his soulmate, Ronda Stefan of Jacksonville; two nephews, two nieces, and four great-nieces; and several cousins.
