Mabel Everett

Mabel Virginia McMillan Everett, 98, of Parkton, North Carolina died Thursday December 19, 2013 at Highland Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton, NC. She was born October 23, 1915 to the late Neill Angus and Maie Chason McMillan. Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday December 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Green Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by sons, James Elbert Everette, Jr. of Hope Mills, NC and Mac Everett and his wife Toni of Ormond Beach, FL; daughter, Sue Neill Schell of Goldsboro, NC; son-in-law, Gilbert Taylor of Parkton, NC; grandchildren, Debbie Custer and Billie Sue Mathias of Goldsboro, James E. Everette III of Wilmington, Dean Everette of Hope Mills, Teresa Flanagan and Patricia Kelder of Ormand Beach; great grandchildren, Jonathan Everette and Megan Everette Barbour of Wilmington, Austin Everette of Hope Mills, Daniel and James Mathias of Goldsboro, Brittany Faye Smith and Caitlynn Virginia Stone Bloom of Goldsboro, Molly and Brendan Flanagan and Anna and Megan Kelder all of Ormand Beach; great, great grandchildren, Garrett Stone and Madelynn Smith of Goldsboro; brothers, Tim McMillan and Kenny McMillan of Parkton; sister, Myra Hagan of Parkton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins that were dear to her. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Green Springs Baptist Church, 1095 E. Green Springs Road, Parkton, NC 28371 or Parkton Baptist Church, 28 S. Fayetteville Street, Parkton, NC 28371.

I was so sorry to her of the passing of Miss Mabel.I remember her from growing up as a friend of my mother and a sweet lady.I know she will be greatly missed.You are in my thought and prayers.
