Mary Metcalfe

Mary Rose Pethel Metalfe, 97, of Hope Mills, NC died Thursday October 20, 2016 at her home. She was born September 4, 1919 in Landis, North Carolina to the late Ira and Lissee Overcash Pethel. She was a loving homemaker. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Edgar Metcalfe, she is survived by her son, AE Metcalfe and his wife Josephine; daughter, Mary Lou Judge; granddaughters, Naomi Remer, Jolene Faulk, Beverly Judge, Audry Eda Judge, Corrine Judge, and Darla Harper; grandsons, Eddy Metcalfe and Mark Metcalfe; and nephew, Butch Leonard. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with a private family burial following services.
