Melody "Becky" West

Ms. Melody "€œBecky"€ West, 57, of Parkton, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 , in Southeastern
Hospice House in Lumberton.
Becky is survived by her mother, Margaret E. Cogburn of Parkton; son, Christopher E. Dwiggins (Annie) of Fayetteville; brothers, Joseph S. Cogburn III of Fort Myers, Fla., Bruce W. Cogburn of Fayetteville; Samuel C. Cogburn (Annette) of Fayetteville, William P. Cogburn (Lisa) of Fort Myers, and Thomas K. Cogburn (Teresa) of Fayetteville; and a grandson, Patrick Broly Dwiggins of Fayetteville; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 , at Haymount Freewill Baptist Church, 126 Eastwood Avenue, Fayetteville, NC 28301,  with Pastor Clarence Privette officiating.  The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery, Grove Street, Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children'€™s Research Hospital,  262 Danny Thomas Place,  Memphis, TN 38105, or 800-805-5856 .

I am so deeply saddened to hear of the loss of "Becky" We may have not seen each other in many years but I was so glad to reconnect on facebook. She was a wonderful, loving, caring person and will be truely missed. Thinking of you all during this time and will be in my prayers.
