Neill A. McMillan, 77, of Parkton, North Carolina died Wednesday 11/3/2010 in the Moses Cone Palliative Care Unit in Greensboro, NC. A native of Robeson County, NC , he was born August 22, 1933 to the late Nathan Johnson and Carra Jackson McMillan. A lifelong resident of Parkton, he retired from the North Carolina Army National Guard and as a Maintenance Engineer with Sears, Roebuck & Co. Mr. McMillan was self-employed in Plumbing, Heating and Electrical Service of McMillan Construction. He was a member and honorary Deacon of the Parkton Baptist Church where he enjoyed the fellowship of lifelong friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Mattie Kathleen of the home; sons, Thomas McMillan and his wife Debra and Steven McMillan and his wife Patricia; daughter, Connie M. Lehman and her husband John; grandchildren, James, Paul and his wife Melissa, Dan and his wife Jamie, Christopher and his wife Samantha, Matt and his wife Sarah, Mark and Jonathan. A Graveside Service is scheduled for November 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at Parkton Cemetery, with the Reverend Raymond J. Wade officiating. A public Celebration of the Life of Neill Arch McMillan will follow at the Parkton Baptist Church Fellowship Hut.
