Romona McGill Butler

Romona Lee McGill Butler, 62, of Sanford, formerly of St. Pauls, died Wednesday July 12, 2017. She was born in Robeson County September 10, 1954 to the late Landon Graham and Barbara Giddens McGill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Butler; brother Donnie McGill; daughter Barbie Butler Jackson; and a special cousin Barbara Susan Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Shanna Fincannon Miller and her husband Kevin of Sanford; son Michael Dale Fincannon of Texas; sister Terrie McGill Evans and her husband Bobby of St. Pauls; brothers Raymond McGill of Bryson City and Kim McGill of St. Pauls; step-daughters, Melissa Butler Arhelger and Michelle Butler Hollingsworth; 12 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren; a special friend Sally Holland; and extended family and friends. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday July 15, 2017 at 5:00 PM at Great Marsh Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday July 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
