Theodore Locklear, Jr.

Theodore Locklear, Jr., 49, was born October 24, 1961 and departed this life August 30, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Locklear, Sr.; grandmother, Elizar Locklear; brothers, Johnnie Ray Locklear, Timothy Locklear; and his great niece Heaven Nina Hanna. Teddy aka "Grand Wizard" loved music and would have lived his entire life playing music if he could. He had a wonderful spirit and loved his family...Survivors include his mother, Gracie Locklear; brothers, Charles Locklear and Carey D Locklear; sisters, Margie A. Locklear, Melody Locklear McNair and Victoria L. Locklear; son, Frederick D. Locklear; daughters, Aja Walker, Naya Brown, Brenda L. Locklear, Nora L. Locklear, Cheryl L. Locklear, Vanessa L. Locklear, and Latasha L. Locklear; and 20 grandchildren, Nakhiya Locklear, Ajane Walker, Ajante Reyes, Latavia, Magficent, Shareal, Superior and Yahyness Brown, Deja and Tiara Henderson, Shalonda Locklear, Shaquell Glover, Briana Thompson, CeShawn McCormick, Malikah and Maleah Locklear, Denazia Williams, Zayden Locklear, Michael GoogeJr, and Quintell McNeill; Aunts, Uncles, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He leaves us to celebrate is memory.

A Vistiation is scheduled for Friday September 2, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM with funeral services of remembrance at 6:00 P.M. at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St. Pauls, North Carolina.
