Timothy Lane Earney, 51, of Fayetteville died Friday June 4, 2021 at his home. He was born in Cumberland County on June 14, 1969 to the late James Walker Earney and Rhonda England Earney. He worked as a printer at Carolina Specialties. He was a huge NASCAR fan supporting Kyle Busch and the Carolina Panthers were his football team. At one time he had been a Wolfpack fan but had switched his allegiance to the UNC Tar Heels. Timothy was an avid guitar player who loved people. He, also, loved his dogs, Abigail and England. He was preceded in death by his father, James Walker Earney; maternal grandfather, Eugene C. England, Sr; and paternal grandparents, James W. and Rena Earney. He is survived by his mother Rhonda England Earney; maternal grandmother, Myrtle England; brother, Greg Earney and his wife Demetra; sisters, Debbie Blum and Kay McGuire and her husband Junior; uncle Gene England and his wife Patricia; aunt, Cathy Callahan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. A visitation will be held Monday June 7, 2021 from 3:30 pm to 4:45 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls, with a graveside service following at 5:00 pm in Oak Ridge Cemetery, with Pastor James Baker officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions in Timothy's name be made to Carroll Memorial Baptist Church, Beautification Fund, 2220 Camden Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306, in lieu of flowers. The family is being served by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, 319 W. Broad Street, St. Pauls, NC 28384.
