Brenda Lawson Davis, 80, of St. Pauls, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was born on January 23, 1946, in Robeson County, North Carolina.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Neil & Pearl Jackson; her brother, Jimmy Jackson; her sister, Deborah Neal Jackson; and one grandson, Jordan Floyd.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, James Davis of the home; one son, Michael Ivey and wife, Teresa, of Lumberton; two daughters, Angela I. Baxley and Donna D. Floyd, both of St. Pauls; two brothers, Gary Jackson and wife, Clarissa, and Ronnie Jackson, both of St. Pauls; two sisters, Sally Kay Daniels and husband, Charlie, of Oklahoma and Diane J. Smith of Nashville, North Carolina,; three grandchildren, Paige Lee and husband, Derrick, James Michael Baxley and wife, Ashley, and Ashley L. Baxley; seven great-grandchildren, Grace Rigsby, Raegan Evans, Hailey Baxley, Lily Floyd, Kaysiona Baxley, Nevaeh Floyd and Eliana Bullock; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at McNeill-Legacy Funeral Home in St. Pauls.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
