Mrs. Clara Seals Watson, 93, of St. Pauls, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2026 at her residence.

Clara was born on November 10, 1932, in Robeson County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Roy Seals and Alice Cashwell Seals.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, RC Watson, Jr.; her daughter, Brenda Rogers; a grandson, Bradford Gasque; her brothers, John D. Seals, Daniel Seals, and Billy Seals; and her son-in-laws, Danny Westbrook and Charles Gasque.

She is survived by her son, Billy Watson (Debbie) of St. Pauls; her daughters, Sheila Gasque of Fayetteville and Carol Westbrook of Newton Grove; her brother, Leroy Seals (Lilly) of Laurinburg; five grandchildren, Steven Barnhill (Amy), Jennifer Crumpler (David), Chris Watson (Krystie), Rebecca Ivanov (Michael) and Austin Rogers; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

The visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Second Baptist Church in St. Pauls.  Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls.
