Mr. Daniel Lee Johnson, age 40, of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Born on April 12, 1986, in Robeson County, North Carolina, Daniel was the son of the late Jefferson Emanuel and Melinda Harding. He worked in construction and was known as a man who loved his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Melinda Harding; his three daughters, Destiny Johnson, Liyanah Johnson, and Karalyna Johnson; his brothers, Jason Johnson, John Harding, David Harding, and Vander Harding, Jr.; his aunts, Sherry Emanuel, Brenda Russell (Steve), and Felecia Burris (Chris); his cousin, Abby Burris; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

In addition to his father, Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Julius and Ormetter Johnson, and his paternal grandmother, Bonnie Emanuel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the McNeill-Legacy Funeral Home Chapel.
