Earl Cranford Woriax, Sr., 75, of Parkton, North Carolina, died Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. A visitation will be held Saturday January 2, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls. Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday January 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Faith Assembly of God Church, 109 Evans Road, St. Pauls, NC with the Reverend Roy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Earl and Emma Woriax Family Cemetery in Parkton. Mr. Woriax was born in Robeson County on September 30, 1940 to the late Foster and Anner Revels Woriax. He owned and operated EW Drywall Company for many years. As an avid horseman, upon his retirement, he founded Big Earls Horse Transport Company. He is survived by his wife, Emma Woriax; son, Earl C. Woriax, Jr.; daughters, Francie W. Barnes and her husband Chris, and Barbara Ann Freeman; grandchildren, Amanda, Jenny, Franchesca, Andrew, Fallon, and Earl III; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua, Parker, Gracie, Anthony, Miranda, and Jace; sisters, Ferlon Prince, Betty Groff McFarland, Drucella Strickland, and Barbara Lovejoy; and a host of friends.
