Where do I begin to describe the good, warm-hearted man my brother was. He always had a big smile for everyone and never met a stranger. He didn't hesitate to help anyone he could. So many times he came to S.C. to help Joe and I with things we needed help with. We'd go fishing at the Santee Cooper Lakes and have a ball whether we caught anything or not. Leighton, like all my brothers and sister have a very special place of their own in my heart and he will be missed more than words can say. He loved God and taught his daughter, Ashley and his grandchildren about the importance of reading the Bible, praying and believing in God. He wasn't perfect as none of us are but he was a God-fearing man. My heart is broken at the loss of my kind- hearted brother but I find comfort in knowing he is with our Loving Father in heaven and his body is healed and made new. R.I.P. Leighton, we will miss you dearly and always love you.
