Mrs. Freda Beth Johnson, age 90, of St. Pauls, passed away on April 17, 2026 at UNC Southeastern in Lumberton.

Mrs. Johnson was born on January 19, 1936 in Robeson County. She was a dedicated member of Great Marsh Baptist Church and spent many years working as a beautician.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Johnson; her husband, Franklin L. Johnson; and two sons, Franklin L. Johnson, Jr. and James E. Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was the last of her siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Timothy Dale Johnson of St. Pauls and Steven Cary Johnson (Ruby) of Bahama, NC; two grandchildren, Mary Margaret Johnson and William Edwards Johnson; along with a host of extended family and friends.
