Glenda Smith

Glenda Smith, age 82 of St. Pauls, NC was born September 30th, 1943 to the late Herman and Lillie Smith, and departed this life January 9th, 2026 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

In addition to her parents, Glenda is preceded in death by her husband, David Smith Sr.; and her son, David Smith Jr.

Glenda leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Marjorie Smith Davis; granddaughter, Sydney Marie Davis; great-grandson, Grayson Allen Bellflowers; (all of St. Pauls) and brother Henry Smith, (Cleveland, TN) and a host of many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that she had made along this journey of life.

As a dedicated employee of D.D. McColl Hardware her career encompassed 58 years in which time she became "Ms. Glenda of D.D.s" she retired July 31st, 2021 at the age of 78. She was known for her unwavering dedication and support to her family and friends, and her beautiful smile that could brighten any room. As a devoted follower of Christ, she dedicated time for Church, The Life Center located in St. Pauls NC.

• Her many names were Ms. Glenda, Mom, Grandma, and Gigi. She will be missed beyond measure.
