Holly Dinez Barton, 48, of Lumberton, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at UNC Southeastern in Lumberton.

Born on April 23, 1978, in Lumberton, North Carolina, Holly was the daughter of the late Roger Dale Barton and Heidi Locklear Barton.

Holly was a quiet and private person who found happiness in life’s simple moments. She preferred keeping to herself and especially cherished spending time with her daughter, Tammy. Holly lived life in her own way, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tammy Strickland; her boyfriend, Tommy Strickland; her mother, Heidi Locklear Barton; her two sisters, Ashley Locklear (Eric) and Valerie Barton; two nieces; two nephews; along with other relatives and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Dale Barton; her stepmother, Teresa Barton; and her sister, “Baby Girl” Barton.

Though Holly’s time here has come to an end, the memories she leaves behind will forever be treasured by those who loved her.
