Horace Mitchell Pittman, Jr.

Horace Mitchell Pittman, Jr., age 62, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on May 21, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Born on August 30, 1962, in Cumberland County, he was the son of Dorothy Spell Pittman and the late Horace Pittman, Sr.

Horace proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He will be remembered for his love of the open road on his motorcycle, his peaceful times spent fishing, and his deep devotion to his family and friends.

In addition to his father, Horace was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Pittman.

He is survived by his loving sons, Michael A. Pittman and wife Katelyn of Hope Mills, and Mitchell D. Pittman of Florida; his cherished mother, Dorothy Pittman of Falcon; his brother, Mark Pittman of Fayetteville; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Horace's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
