James “Jim” Nash Hollingsworth

James Nash "Jim" Hollingsworth, 71, of Chesapeake, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022

Born in St. Pauls, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Nash Hollingsworth and Amanda Stokes. He was also predeceased by a step-father, T.L. Stokes; siblings, Deloris Mead, Jean Patane, Eddie Hollingsworth, Donnie Stokes, Tommy Stokes, Dennis Stokes and Mary Ward, as well as his grandparents, Clyde and Denise Huggins. Jim was a truck driver, and was a member of the J&J Hunting Club.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherri Hollingsworth Fisher (Branden); former wife, Lisa Hollingsworth; step-children, Amber White (Kevin), Phillip Roy II (Brittany); Grandchildren, Shaina Wilkinson (Brandon), Kassi Swain (Ariah), Kaylee Fisher, Haley Smith, Natalie White, Cody Tettenhorst, Faith Roy, Abby Roy and Taylor Roy; great-grandchildren, Abbygail, Kevin, Kinsley, Waylen; sisters, Patricia Mitchell (Bill), Janice Thompson (David), Nola Culpepper (Gene) and Judy Stokes, as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends. 

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday February 5, 2022 at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside entombment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Oak Ridge Cemetery, 1019 West Broad Street, St. Pauls, NC.
