James Kenneth Mason, 84, of St. Pauls, passed away peacefully on March 24th at his daughter’s home in Parkton.

Mr. Mason was born on August 14, 1941, in Boone, Virginia, to the late Utauka McDermet Mason and Elmer Mason. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Brochu.

He is survived by his loving wife, Annie Mason; four daughters, Jamie, Katherine, Crystal, and Mellisa Mason; one stepdaughter, Caylee West; and two sons, James and Christopher Mason.

Mr. Mason was a retired veteran and a beloved father, husband, and friend. He will be forever missed and remembered for his generosity and whimsical personality.

Celebration of life for Mr. Mason will be announced at a later date.
