Jerry Benjamin (Benny) Little Jr., age 70, of Lumber Bridge, NC, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 28, 2025, at home. He was born in Stuart, FL, on November 25, 1954, on Thanksgiving Day to the late Joyce Carolyn Crews and Jerry B. Little Sr.
Jerry is lovingly remembered by his wife, Vicki C. Little, son, Jerry Benjamin Little III, his wife Erica, his daughter Shannon Renee Webber and husband Paul, and his daughter, Kimberly Marie Thiemann.
Jerry (Papa) is also remembered for his love for his 5 grandchildren, Preston, Ella, Ben, Eli, and Jacob, who will always love him forever. He loved to just spend time with them, or talk to them on the phone.
Jerry proudly retired from First American Title Company of Stuart, Florida in 2023, after 35 years of service. He was a senior title examiner for the commercial department with First American Title. He was a conscientious employee who worked hard at a very stressful position, so he took the stress off everyone he worked with by his constant humor. His First American family has expressed their condolences and said they really loved the person he was. He will be greatly missed by all.
His previous employment was at Winn Dixie of Stuart, FL and he worked up the ranks from bag boy to assistant manager. He was well loved by everyone there as well.
He also started a small part-time weekend business, called B & V’s Unique Gifts, back in 1999, which later became very successful in Port St. Lucie, FL. His wife Vicki ran the store 6 days a week, after they decided to move to Port St. Lucie and rent a larger store. The store closed in 2007 due to the economic collapse.
He will be remembered for his charismatic personality and humor, which made him who he was. He always had people laughing with his one liners. He was adventurous and always wanted to go to different places around Florida, up the coast and on road trips. He was also the most loving husband to his wife, making sure she got whatever she wanted, and always remembered her birthday, which was the day before he passed.
He was also a wonderful son, brother, father, and grandfather and he will be forever missed by his family members, and the many cousins who loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at McNeill Legacy Funeral Home in St. Paul’s, NC, the date to be determined later.
