Joel Hall Parnell, Sr., 52, of Parkton, NC died Tuesday 3/8/2016 at his home. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday 3/11/2016 at Parkton Baptist Church, with Reverends William Beasley and David Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Parkton Cemetery. Mr. Parnell was a member of Parkton Baptist Church. Surviving are his son, Joel Hall Parnell, II; his father and mother, Earl and Josie Parnell of Parkton; sisters, Cynthia Alexander of Charlotte and Martha Nance and her husband Fred of Nashville, Tenn.; three nieces and three nephews.
