Josie Florence Sessoms

Josie Florence Ross Sessoms, 96, of St. Pauls was born September 2, 1925 in Robeson Co.  to the late James Patrick and Amanda Jackson Ross and departed this life, Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at her residence.

In addition to her parents, Josie is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Sessoms; one son,  James David Sessoms; one great grandchild; one great-great grandchild; several brothers, sisters and other relatives.

Josie leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, four daughters, Carolyn Pender and husbnd James of Hope Mills, Paulette Baker and husband David, Marilyn Blackburn and husband Charles and Cynthia Smith all of St. Pauls; 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; her beloved hospice worker, Alice Bullard and a host of other relatives and friends.

Josie was an active member of Autonomy Church, where she had been a member since 1976.

Family will receives friends at the home of of Marilyn and Charles Blackburn.
