Joyce Jackson Bullard

Joyce J. Bullard, age 82, was born August 29, 1943 in Martin Co., North Carolina to the late, Cleo and Mildred Jackson and departed this life on January 30, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bullard, and several siblings, including Frank Jackson, Peggy Ayers, and Bud Jackson.

She is survived by her two sons, Steven Bullard (Veronica) and Randall Bullard; one brother, Fernando Jackson; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Joyce was an avid reader and a retired educator with Fort Bragg Schools, where she dedicated nearly 30 years to educating and shaping the lives of young people. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She lived a life marked by service, dedication, and compassion for others.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at McNeill-Legacy Funeral Home Chapel, St. Pauls, North Carolina.
