Lee Hunt

Lee Wayne Hunt, 59, of Fayetteville, NC passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019 in Rex Hospital in Raleigh. He was born June 26, 1959 in Cumberland County to the late Laura Hunt Brewington and James Henry “Dick” Hunt. He was employed by Woodrow Freemans Wood Yard in Dunn, NC during the 1970’s. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Laura Brewington and Dick Hunt, son, James Lee Hunt and brother, James Carlos “Jamie” Hunt, he is survived by his daughter, Heather Lynn Allen of St. Pauls; son, Randall Williams; sisters, Melanie Hunt, Debra Hunt Barton; brothers, Ronald Lowery all of Fayetteville and Kent Hunt of Greensboro; grandchildren, Devin Tre Allen, Jaida Lee Allen, Lakoda Lyn Allen and Ian James Hunt, foster brother; Daughtry L. Morrison of Fayetteville.  A visitation will be held Wednesday February 20, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with a funeral service scheduled for 8:00 pm, also at the funeral home, with the Reverend Jerry Groves officiating.
