Linda Ellen Kemp, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, went home to Heaven on September 8, 2026. Following a short illness, Linda passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family.

Linda’s greatest joy was found in the family she loved so dearly. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially going to the beach and spending time fishing from the pier. Those peaceful days by the water were among the moments she treasured.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Jessica Kemp (Jonathan) and Wendy Ellon Council; her grandchildren, Anthony Gooch, Jonathan Coram, Malachi Currie, Christian Council, and Olivia Jacobs; and her great-grandchild, K.J. Gooch.

She is also survived by her sister, Susan Shelton (Michael); her brother, John Kemp, Jr. (Antonella); and many beloved nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Linda will be remembered for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the special place she held within her family. Though her presence will be deeply missed, those who loved her will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and love she leaves behind.
