Margaret Hagen

February 28, 1925 — June 25, 2021

Margaret Lois Inman Hagen was born in Salisbury, NC on February 28, 1925 to Leslie and Lucy Inman. She spent the majority of her youth in St. Pauls, NC. Lois served honorably in the Coast Guard during World War II. On returning home she married Dennis Clayton Hagen and moved to Red Springs to start a family. Lois and Dennis raised four children Linda Ann, Margaret Eileen, Dennis, Junior (Pete) and Robert Stephen (Steve). Lois spent the majority of her working life employed at Fort Bragg as a Logistics Clerk. She has been a loyal member of Red Springs Eastern Star for more than 60 years.

Lois completed her heavenly journey early in the morning on Friday, June 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Cecil Inman, her husband Dennis, her son “Pete” and her daughter Eileen.

Lois is survived by her brother Hugh Inman of St. Louis, Missouri and his two children Bill and Michelle. A daughter Linda Bailey of Holden’s Beach, Linda’s husband Clarence, son Leslie and wife Tischa Bailey also of Holden’s Beach and their two children Matthew and Katie. Linda also has a son Jason and wife Aimee of Parkland, Florida, and their two sons Schuyler and Greyson. Lois’s son Steve and his wife Loretta live in Red Springs. They have four children. Mandy Clay, Rowland, and her children Whitney, Samara, Khiyla and Dadrian;  Stephen, Red Springs, and his children Hailey, Blair and Trista; Corey and Liz Hunt, Callaway, Florida and their daughters Riley and Hayden; Chad and Mara Hunt, Raeford, and their children Laila, Sadie and Clay. Her other grandchildren include Timothy Hagen (Eileen), Chicago, Illinois; Scotty Hagen of Vass, David Hagen of Robbins and Brandy Hagen of Eagle Springs (Pete’s Children). There are an additional 13 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.
