Marjorie Sumner was called home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 12, 2023, passing peacefully. She was 90 years old.
She married Ernest Sumner in 1949 and raised two children and was totally dedicated to the varied aspects of their lives.

In addition to raising two boys, she spent many years as a secretary and bookkeeper, holding positions at the First Baptist Church, Power’s Furniture Company, and the St Pauls School System.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Ruth Inman; sister, Alice Layton; brothers, Angus and Neville Inman; and her husband.
