Mary Byrd

Mary Neal Byrd, 47, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

Mary had a passion for God and family. She loved to sing old hymns and was tone deaf, but would sing once in a while by herself or with her mom. Mary enjoyed knitting, crochet, and calligraphy. She also served in the Peace Corps and volunteered with the senior citizen community.

Mary is survived by her parents, Edna Greenlaw and Leroy Byrd; stepfather Robert Greenlaw; stepmother Christine Byrd; and siblings Lucius Grey Byrd, Alice Lodge, Melody Byrd, Shellie Byrd, and Kevin Lodge; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday August 31, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Tolarsville Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Broadwell officiating.
