Myrlene Parnell, 81, of Parkton, NC died July 2, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. A native of Robeson County, she was born May 14, 1929 to the late Neil Arch and Leana Holder Parnell. She is survived by her sister, Mable Penfield; nieces and nephews, Carolyn Parnell, Glenda Fersak, Louise Parnell, Becky Johnson, Murray Parnell, Jr., Barbara Ward, Rosie Penfield, Tommy Penfield, Joe Penfield, Danny Ray Penfield, Robert Earl Penfield, Jr., Joy Parnell, Susan Parnell, Sally Parnell, Claude Parnell, Jr., Neil Arch Parnell, Jr. and Danny Parnell; special friends, Susan Champion and Johnny Webb; and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday July 4, 2010 at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home, St. Pauls, from 2:00--4:00 PM and a graveside service will follow at 4:30 PM at Parkton Cemetery, Parkton, NC with Reverend Raymond Wade officiating.
