Nicholas Justin Martin, 38, of Williamsburg, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Newport News, Virginia, Nicholas was the son of Betty Hodge Martin and the late Norman Johnson Martin.

Nicholas was known for his love of racing and the outdoors. He enjoyed car racing, go-cart racing, and RC car racing, and he especially treasured the time he spent fishing and enjoyed working with ham radios with his late father for many years. Nicholas will be remembered for his loving spirit and the many friendships he made throughout his life.

Nicholas leaves a loving family to include his mother, Betty Hodge Martin of Mathews, Virginia; his sister, Samantha Martin Kostyal and husband, James Corey of Mathews, Virginia; his niece, Taylor Kostyal Lee of Gloucester, Virginia; his nephew, Logan Zachary Kostyal of Mathews, Virginia; along with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Monroe Family Cemetery in Tar Heel, North Carolina. Rev. Richard Martin and Larry Martin will officiate.
