Robert Henderson

Robert Henderson, 69, known to friends as “Bob” “Bobby” passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Morrison Manor in Laurinburg. He is preceded in death by his parents Billy and Doris “Sis” Henderson; his sister Joan MacDonald; and brother-in-law Billy Hickman. Robert was a loving husband and father, who will dearly be missed by his family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years Rose McGirt Henderson and his children Tammy (Tony), Robin, Robert, Shannon (David), Christopher, and Christy (John). He will also be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren. He is survived by his two sisters, Billie Ruth Hickman and Peggy (Harold) Fields and a special friend Ronald Johnson. He will forever be remembered by his dear friends and extended family.  The family will receive friends and family at the home place 1207 Odum Road of Lumberton. Visitations will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church of Rennert. The Funeral will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 3:00pm at Zion Hill Baptist Church of Rennert. Arrangments are with McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of Saint Pauls.
