Stephen "Bug" Sutton

Stephen H. "Bug" Sutton, 96, of Saint Pauls died Sunday March 10, 2013. Mr. Sutton retired as Public Works Director for the Town of Saint Pauls. He was born November 19, 1916 in Pinehurst, NC to the late Dan Sutton and Nancy Jane Hall. He was also preceded in death by his son Richard, wives Clara and Dorothy and siblings Thomas "Buster" Sutton, Ellis Sutton, Margaret "Seady" Sutton and Annie Maxine Graham. He is survived by his brother Earl and his wife Doris of Saint Pauls; step-children, Carol Daniel, Bobby Morris, and Harold Morris; grandchildren, James Sutton of St. Pauls, Carolyn Sutton Deweese of Charleston, Patricia Sutton Mitchell of Tennesee; daughter-in-law Gloria Smith Sutton of Saint Pauls, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00AM Tuesday 3/12/13 at Philadelphus Presbyterian Church cemetery in Red Springs. Visitation is scheduled for Monday 3/11/13 from 6-8 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls. The family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the charity of one's choice.
