Steven Wright

Steven Anthony Wright, 33, of Hope Mills, N.C passed away Saturday May 12, 2018. He was born in Cumberland County on June 24, 1984. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, hunting, fishing, carpentry, family, and friends. He also loved traveling, the ocean and life in general. He is survived by his parents Mark "Marty" and Jessica S. Wright; brother, Jason N. Wright; nieces, Elizabeth N. and Hannah R. Wright; grandfather, Louie C. Wombaugh; uncle, James E. Wright; aunt and uncle, Derek and Sandi Melvin; aunt, Francine Wombaugh; aunt, Vivian Wombaugh; uncle, Larry C. Wombaugh; his extended family includes, stepmothers, Missy Miller Blackman and Jeannette F. Decker; and, stepbrothers, D.J., Chris, and Shawn Decker. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday May 19, 2018 at 5:30 PM at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls, with a Visitation 1 ½ hours prior to the service, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, also at the funeral home.
