Susan Jackson Imman, 70, of St. Pauls, NC, ended her earthly journey on Saturday, October 3, 2026. She was born February 3, 1956, in Robeson County, to the late Alex Jackson and Geraldine Lupo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark and Jamie Jackson.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Alex Imman; her sons, Robbie (Toni) Imman, and Bryan Imman; and her daughter, Ashley (Jimmy) Imman. She also leaves behind her six beloved grandchildren, James, William, Jacob, Caitlyn, Ethan, and Caden Imman, who brought her immeasurable joy.
She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Jackson and Christopher Jackson, and her sister, Melody Broadwell.
Susan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with her family, hunting for a good bargain, and tending to the flowers and plants she loved so much.
To know Susan was to know a woman who was completely and unapologetically herself. She told it like it was. She had no filter, never held back her words, and never made you wonder how she felt about something—or about you. Susan spoke her mind, whether you were ready to hear it or not. And while her honesty could sometimes make you laugh, shake your head, or even drive you a little crazy, it was simply Susan being Susan. She spoke her mind with honesty and conviction, and that unmistakable personality was one of the things that made her so memorable. She loved fiercely, cared deeply, and left an impression everywhere she went.
Known affectionately as the “Yard Sale Queen,” she loved finding a bargain, and she had a special gift for talking someone into an even better one. A yard sale was never just a yard sale when Susan was there. She could turn a simple purchase into a negotiation and somehow come home feeling like she had won the deal of the century.
In her younger years, Susan enjoyed cross-stitching, creating beautiful pieces one stitch at a time. She also had a special love for flowers and plants and took great pride in caring for them.
Though Susan’s family will deeply miss her presence, her memory will live on in the stories they share, the laughter she inspired, the flowers she loved, the bargains she found, and the countless little reminders of her life and love.
Her family will forever remember the woman who never sugarcoated a thing, never held back what she was thinking, and loved fiercely in her own unmistakable way. Susan was unapologetically herself—and there will never be another quite like her.
Her life was a gift, her love was a blessing, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
