Syble Edwards Bunnell

Syble Edwards Bunnell, age 96, of Parkton, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born July 18, 1929, in Robeson County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John C. Edwards and the late Almenia Holder Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew “Chick” Bunnell; her daughter, Sylvia Inman; and her grandson, Gary Keith Inman, Jr.

Mrs. Bunnell was a longtime resident of Parkton and worked for many years as an office manager with an insurance agency. She was known for her dedication to her family and her strong work ethic. She was a lifelong member of Parkton Methodist Church.

She is survived by her grandson, Matthew Inman, her son in-law, Gary Inman and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
