Terry Davis

Terry Nash Davis, 51, of Grays Creek took his flight home to be with Jesus on March 19, 2020. He was born in Mecklenburg County on March 23, 1968 to the late Billy Davis and Betty Jean Suggs Davis. Terry had many skills ranging from roofing to mechanicing to landscaping. At the time of his home going he was working for a plumbing company in Fayetteville. He liked fishing, tinkering in the yard and he loved sitting by a bonfire. Terry loved his wife Lisa, cook outs and getting together with his family. In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by nephews Able Brisson and Alex Thompson and great niece Emma Rose Colantuono. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lisa Davis; sons, Joseph Garner and Ronnie Garner of Hope Mills; daughter, Kayla Davis of Parkton; three grandchildren, Kalina, Ella and Anthony, Jr.; mother, Betty Jean Davis of Grays Creek; brother, Billy Wayne Davis of Dunn; seven sisters, Bettie Wall of Swansboro, Sharon Lutes of Clarksville, TN, Debbie Pait of Grays Creek; Carol Collins, Ellen Milisci, Angie Darden, all of Fayetteville and Faye Thompson of Mountain City, TN.; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation is being held Friday March 20, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls with a funeral service scheduled for Saturday March 21, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church, 337 S. Elizabeth Street, St. Pauls, NC, with the Reverend David Hodge officiating. Burial will follow the service in Davis-McLean Family Cemetery. Arrangements by McNeill Mackie Funeral Service of St. Pauls.
