Virginia Lee Blount

Virginia Lee Blount, age 80 of Parkton, was born April 27, 1943 in Robeson Co. to the late John C. Phillips and Sadie P. Phillips and departed this life, February 15, 2024 at Golden Years Nursing Center in Falcon.

In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Blount, Jr. and two brothers, James Phillips and William Phillips.

Virginia leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing three sons, Mark Blount of Parkton, Wyatt Adams of Raleigh and Justin Adams of Fayetteville; one daughter, Melissa Jacobs of Lumberton; three sisters, Johnnie Martin of Fayetteville, Gabrielle Watts of Murrells Inlet, SC and Susan Phillips of Myrtle Beach, SC; one brother, Dan Phillips of Surfside Beach, SC; five grandchildren, Brandon Blount, Johnathan Blount, Kimberly Blount Marshall, Nicholas Blount and Cameron Hammonds; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
