Wendy Locklear

Wendy Gail Locklear, 42, of St. Pauls, NC died Wednesday September 18, 2019. She was born in Robeson County August 14, 1977 to Barbara Polston Locklear and the late Sammy Locklear, Jr. She graduated from St. Pauls High School with the class of 1995. A woman of faith, she attended the Kingdom Place in Lumberton and she worked at the St. Pauls Walgreens for almost 14 years and was “the smile of the store”. Wendy was a great baker and loved to cook. She was an avid reader of romance novels and loved watching a good movie. Most of all Wendy loved making people smile. Preceded in death by her daughter, Ivy Ann Locklear and father, Sammy Locklear, Jr., she is survived by her son, Joshua Locklear; mother, Barbara Locklear; brother, Sammy Locklear III and his wife Melissa; niece, Savannah "Baby Girl" Locklear; nephew Samuel Carter Locklear; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday September 22, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church in St. Pauls, with a memorial service being held at 6:00 pm, also, at the church.
