Zachary Monroe

Zachary Paul Monroe, 26, of Tolarsville died Wednesday April 21, 2021. He was born in Robeson County on September 21, 1994 to the late Paul Monroe and Robin Bullard Monroe. Zach loved all kinds of music, taking Jayden and Cameron fishing and out to play baseball. He worked in construction, but his first love was cooking and he liked sports, especially the Carolina Tar Heels and Dallas Cowboys. He truly loved his family, especially his sister Katie, and he called his niece his baby girl Aubree. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Monroe, grandparents Kathleen and Howard Monroe, and aunt Kay Rozier. He is survived by his sister, Katie McKenzie and her husband Matt; mother, Robin Bullard; “mama” Miriam Steadman and her husband Ronnie; uncle, Bobby Monroe; niece, Aubree McKenzie; cousins, Tara and Colon Rozier and Josh and Jonathan Stedman; and many other cousins and family members. A visitation will be held at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls on Sunday April 25, 2021 from 5:00-6:00 pm. A graveside funeral service is scheduled for Monday April 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Tolarsville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is being served by McNeill Mackie Funeral Home of St. Pauls.
